COVID-19 Support – UC Memorial North Dropoff
Shift 1 Day 1
Good morning TimberCreek!! The Palmer family here!!
We had the privilege and honor to be part of an amazing service to our community today!! We handed out drinks at UC Memorial North today at shift change and it was just a humbling and amazing experience!! Several employees actually were crying because it made a huge impact to their day! Majority of them are working long hours and they just looked really exhausted!! One lady cried and literally said “I didn’t think anyone really cared.” Going out with signs to let them know that we appreciate all that they do and that we are praying for them just made such and impact to them. It brought tons of smiles and joy and it was so awesome to see in this time!! Thank you for everyone who put this together, the supplies, and the hours that went into this! Today, seeing people cry and take pictures because they appreciate us just humbles you!! We are praying for the hospital employees, our government, our church, our community and also for the next family/person who can support the next shift!!
They’re predicting this will be a rough week for America. It was a rough week for Jesus, too… But just look at the outcome. 🙌🏼
Joshua 1:9- Do not be afraid!!
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Psalm 71- The Lord our God is our Strength and our protector!!
We are in this together TimberCreek!! Hang in there!!
